AMY! 2.2 [AMY22] (John McCaffrey, reg. fee: $5) is for children who are
curious about typing on the computer. It prints large letters, numbers and
symbols on the screen in different colors. If your child types the "magic
word", the screen lights up with colors and the computer plays a tune.
Big Math Attack 2.0 [BIGMATH2] (Philip P. Kapusta, reg. fee: $10) tests
math, spelling, typing and metric conversions skills in an arcade
environment.
EGA Mouse Paint 5.0 [EGAMP50] (Fischer Grafix & Software, reg. fee: $20) is
a painting program for children.
EGAQuiz 4.25 [EGAQUIZ] (Brian Towey, reg. fee: $0) is a political quiz. It
generates a political map showing your position on personal and economic
issues. These issues include conscription, media, privacy, prohibition,
borders, subsidies, protectionism, labor, income tax, and defense. Relevent
quotes are also provided.
Europe 1.1 [EUROPE] (Torpedo Software, reg. fee: $0) is an educational quiz
game about European geography. Score points answering questions from four
groups: countries, capitals, exports, and major geographical features.
Requires VGA, mouse.
Fonetic Speling 1.0 [FONETIC1, FONETIC2] (Edward Rondthaler, reg. fee: $25)
translates text files from normal spelling to phonetic spelling. The program
contains a list of 44,000 English words, each with a phonetic equivalent.
Requires a hard drive.
Children's Tutors 1.4 [G7T14] (Synergistic Consultants, Incorporated, reg.
fee: $10) are two math tutorials for children ages preschool through 3rd
grade.
Math Games 3.0 [MATHGAME] (Alan C. Elliott, reg. fee: $21) is a math
teacher disguised as an Olympic game. The game pits your country against an
opponent. Each time you type the correct answer to a math problem, your team
wins a point. If you make a mistake, your opponent gains a point. The winner
receives a medal at the flag raising ceremony.
Melissa's Music Flashcards 3.1 [MMF31] (Fischer Grafix & Software, reg.
fee: $21) provides a colorful, interactive environment for children to learn
the notes and keys of the music staff.
Paragraph Punch 1.1 [PARPUNCH] (Merit Audio Visual, reg. fee: $25) is a
writing program to help students write complete paragraphs. It is for
reading levels 5 and up. It teaches five different ways to develop a
paragraph: through reasons, details, sequence, example, and cause and
effects. Students are rewarded with graphic displays and paragraphs can be
transferred to Word Perfect or other popular word processing programs.
PC-CAI 2.10r2 [PCCAI21A, PCCAI21B, PCCAI21C] (Alan C. Elliott, reg. fee:
$74) is a computer language specifically designed to allow you to create
computer driven tutorials, tests, demos. NEW: more soundblaster and PCX
support
PC Primer 3.1s [PRIMER31] (Peter Diotte, reg. fee: $25) is a self-paced
tutorial for learning about a microcomputer and DOS.
All About Pumps [PUMPS] (Russell Hoffman, reg. fee: $35) is an animated
tutorial on how pumps work. It explains over 20 different kinds of pumps,
history of pumps, theory of operation, hydraulic principles and more.
Requires SVGA, VESA 1.2, 1 MB video, 4 MB expanded RAM, and 10 MB of hard
drive space.
Super-Math 1.1 [SMATH] (Eric Jarrett, reg. fee: $13) is a math tutorial
with several different types of problems.
Soulmerg I 1.1 [SOULMERG] (M. E. P., reg. fee: $0) includes unique stories
featuring sound effects. A story is activated when you select a star or
Soulmerg circle from the star system menu. Each soulmerg circle travels
through a corridor to a different life experience. Requires 640K, hard disk,
and a Sound Blaster compatible board.
StoryMaker 2.1 [STORYV21] (Elson Embry, reg. fee: $23) lets you create
talking story books with animation, music and sound effects. NEW: imports
PCX files into the graphics editor's clipboard.
Test Generator [TESTGEN] (Thomas B. Wiggers, reg. fee: $60) stores multiple
choice test questions from which pen and paper or computer administered
examinations may be prepared. Up to 200 questions may be randomly or
specifically selected, and a key is printed with each examination.
Total Math 1.1 [TOTALMTH] (Jack C Webb, reg. fee: $10) is a combination of
on-screen math drills and a worksheet generator. Problems can be generated
in addition, subtraction, multiplication, division or a mixture. Requires
EGA/VGA.
Type Games 3.0 [TYPEGAME] (Alan C. Elliott, reg. fee: $21) is a typing

can choose from story problems such as Carphone and When Snails Collide.
